Drones in Government Working Group

The Drones in Government Working Group’s mission is to aid in facilitating connections, providing awareness and data harmonization across Federal, State, and Local governments by providing tools to inform decision makers in the Drone/UAV/UAS professional field.

 

Drone technology has greatly impacted day-to-day mission delivery at many agencies. Once found only on the battlefield, drones are now used for various non-military applications across the Federal Government, with widely varying and quickly increasing use cases.

 

This group will collaborate on the various aspects of using drones to advance agency mission and serve constituents – including but not limited to data storage, management, and security, drone operation safety, domestic versus foreign manufacturers, public perception, and more.
