Federal CIO Panel: Diving Into the Cybersecurity Executive Order
President Biden’s executive order on cybersecurity outlined new security standards that each Federal Agency must comply with. Federal agencies will need to aim to “identify, deter, protect against, detect, and respond to” cybersecurity threats. The order lays out eight directives for strengthening the nation’s response to cyber threats, mostly focused on preventive and planning measures but including responsive measures as well.
