DevOps is a learning cycle of continuous integration and delivery, with a focus on people, processes, and technology.  DevOps encourages collaboration and communication between development and operations and is rapidly spreading throughout the IT community. This 1/2 day event will examine DevOps tools and techniques being used by the Federal Government to provide agencies with greater efficiency and cost savings. This event is also kickoff the launch of ATARC’s DevOps Working Group and 8 different Project Teams.

DevOps allows for security groups to have a better security introduction early on in the development cycle.This delivery approach gives organizations an opportunity to reduce overall security risks in software. This panel will discuss the challenges and considerations of Security combined with DevOps. What are the implications of DevOps for security? How are DevOps practices and tools creating security issues? What are the best practices and technologies for addressing these issues? How can we bridge the communication gap that exists between security and the rest of the organization?
