Michael Cassidy is a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) within the Department of Justice (DOJ) in the United States Trustees Program providing technical strategy and guidance to deliver high quality products and services to the USTP user community.

Michael is an accomplished technology leader with over 26 years of experience developing, designing, testing, securing and implementing enterprise solutions for large organizations.

Prior to his position as CTO, Michael worked as a Cybersecurity Architect for DOJ, Enterprise Architect for Vcentra and a Principal Consultant for Microsoft providing Federal agencies high quality technical solutions with a focus on timely delivery within budget.

He is a well-rounded leader with up to date industry certifications in project management, (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP), operations excellence, (i.e., ITIL v3.0, Microsoft Operations Framework) and security (i.e., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cloud Certified Security Professional (CCSP) with continual learning in all areas of technology (i.e. Cloud Essentials, Cloud+, Azure Architect) with a strong concentration on Cloud technologies using Agile tools and practices to accelerate customer delivery.

Michael holds a BS in Consumer Economics from University of Maryland College Park and a MS in Information Technology from University of Maryland University College.
