Trey Kennedy serves as an advisor for the Federal Chief Information Officers’ Council, which serves as the principal interagency forum on Federal agency IT Management practices.

Among Trey’s responsibilities were to create situational awareness for incoming Federal IT leaders in the new Administration. He was also responsible for the realignment of the Federal CIO Council’s committee structure.

In 2018, he was selected for the prestigious Federal 100 Awards, honoring government, industry and academic leaders who have gone above and beyond to make a real difference in the way technology was bought, managed and used in the federal IT community

Prior to joining GSA, Trey served as an analyst for SRA International and a manager for Jefferson Consulting Group.

He is a graduate of the University of Redlands with a BA in Government, and also holds an MSc in History of International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSe).
