Itzel is a quantum technology expert with over 10 years of experience in the quantum communication field. She holds a PhD in Quantum Physics from the University of Calgary, where her research focused on quantum cryptography. Itzel has implemented different quantum cryptography protocols in field conditions through the city of Calgary, has authored several academic papers, and has presented her work in international conferences on quantum communication and quantum cryptography. Itzel’s experience also includes working in quantum technology in commercial settings, both in Switzerland and Canada. Currently, Itzel is Head of Product at Quantized Technologies Inc. (QTi), a quantum communications start-up based in Calgary.

Jordan is a quantum physicist and a repeat founder. He holds a Master’s degree in Physics, a Bachelor’s degree in Honours Physics, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of Calgary. Jordan’s unique perspective and industry-relevant expertise have enabled him to lead QTi’s mission of transforming the quantum ecosystem, and in using quantum technologies to benefit and improve the world.
