Brian Bonacci has been an active leader in the Federal Government IT and Telecom industry over the last 25+ years. He recently joined Equinix where he is charged with building and leading Partnerships and Channels for Equinix Government Solutions (EGS).

Brian has also served in key industry associations such as ACT-IAC as Executive Committee Vice-Chair At Large, Networks & Telecom Shared Interest Group Chair & Vice-Chair, Executive Leadership Conference Industry Vice-Chair, and GSA NS2020 Working Group Co-Chair. He currently serves on the Board of ITPA National Capital Chapter as Treasurer.

Prior to joining Equinix, Brian served as Senior Director for Government Markets at Infinera and held key leadership positions for Level 3’s Government Markets Group such as Director of Business Development and Chief of Staff.

He has also held other senior Business Development positions at Qwest (now CenturyLink), Unisys and SAIC, where he spent eight years as Assistant Vice President. In addition to Business Development, Brian has also held leadership roles in Business Operations and Practice Management.

He started his career with the U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) as a Computer Scientist and later worked at the U.S. Internal Revenue Service’s Systems Integration Office, developing strategies and architectures for their Tax Systems Modernization Program.

Brian holds a Master of Science degree in Business (Information Technology Management) from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from West Virginia University. Originally from New Jersey, Brian now calls Oakton, Virginia home where he lives with his wife and two sons.
