Sarah Fahden is the Chief Executive Officer of LightFeather.io, a small, woman-owned business that provides consulting services for DevOps and emerging technologies.

Prior to starting Lightfeather in 2018, Sarah spent eight years with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in a variety of information roles including Division Chief of Identity, Records and National Security Delivery (IRNSD). In this role, she was responsible for managing all of the programs under the Immigration Records and Identity Services (IRIS) Directorate and the Fraud Detection and National Security (FDNS) Directorate. Her other roles at USCIS included Chief, Verification Program Portfolio and Chief, Risk Management Branch.

Prior to USCIS, Sarah worked for a variety of companies in private industry including General Dynamics Information Technology; American Operations Corporation; Booz Allen Hamilton; and Allegiance Telecom.

She also spent six years working for the United States Navy as a Cryptologist Technician Interpretive (CTI) with a specialization in Russian Language Translation.

Sarah has a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management and a Masters of Science in IT Information Security, both from University of Maryland. She also holds a Russian Linguistics Certificate.
