About this Webinar:

This talk will provide an overview of the South African Quantum Technology Initiative and outline the national roadmap for quantum technologies in South Africa. The South African Quantum Technology Initiative (SA QUTI) is a national initiative funded by the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI). Its goal is to create the conditions for a globally competitive research environment in quantum technology and foster the growth of a local quantum technology industry in South Africa.

Jodie Watson is a Project Manager with SA QuTI (South African Quantum Technology Initiative), where she plays a key role in advancing South Africa’s strategic vision for quantum science and technology. With a strong background in project coordination and stakeholder engagement, she supports national efforts to build a robust quantum ecosystem that aligns with the country’s innovation and development goals.
