White Paper: Enhancing Democracy and Strengthening Governance Using Blockchain Technologies

Distributed Ledger Technology, commonly called “Blockchain”, is an emerging technology that is being currently utilized today within private industry, government agencies, and military branches in a variety of effective ways.

This White Paper was prepared by the ATARC Blockchain Working Group members, and explores how using blockchain technology for voting in elections can benefit the United States by creating more efficient, transparent processes which increase both voter participation and overall trust in government.
