About this Webinar:
On June 17, OPM issued guidance aimed at upleveling federal performance management—calling for empowered supervisors, more frequent feedback, and data-driven accountability. The message is clear: annual reviews alone aren’t going to cut it. Federal agencies are reimagining how they evaluate, develop, and support their workforces in response to the recognition that annual performance reviews alone aren’t enough. As expectations for accountability, engagement, and mission delivery evolve, agencies are empowering supervisors to lead more frequent, meaningful feedback conversations using data-driven insights to track performance drivers. By empowering supervisors with better tools and training, applying workforce analytics, and encouraging open performance-based dialogue, agencies are aiming to boost engagement, retention, and mission outcomes.
This session will bring together agency leaders and workforce experts from OPM and other federal entities to share how they plan to put these ideas into practice—what’s working, what’s changing on the ground, and how lessons learned can help drive a stronger, more adaptable federal workforce.
